The Positive Response information system is an automated information system operated and maintained by MS811, that allows excavators, locators, facility owners or operators, and other affected parties to enter and/or determine the status of a locate request. Positive response to MS811 is voluntary only and is not currently mandated by law. Please keep in mind that using this service only submits your response to the MS811 Positive Response system. The system does not transmit any information back to the excavator.
