As always, please keep us informed of any updates that need to be made to your database. Keeping your company’s database up to date prevents unnecessary damages to your facilities. Remember, we won’t know of any new lines you have put in the ground until you tell us. All persons preparing to dig must call Mississippi 811 or utilize our online E-locate system two days prior to the beginning of any work. Underground facilities will be marked using the color code system and then work may proceed. Click here to read the law.
Beginning July 1, 2008, House Bill 1215 required "Operators who have underground utility lines or underground facilities within the State of Mississippi [to] be a member of Mississippi One-Call System, Inc." Sign up online to become a member of Mississippi 811.
