Member Service Area Mapping

Mississippi One-Call System, Inc. is pleased to announce the ability for you to review your database online through our Member Service Area Mapping. With this free service, you now have the option of viewing and editing your database online any time needed without having to contact us. If you would like to take advantage of these options, please submit your request by clicking on the link below. You will be emailed a log in, password and site instructions as soon as possible that will allow you to access the site.

Spatial Database Information

Any members still using a range, township, and section (grid) database should consider converting to a spatial database. Grid databases can result in over coverage of a service area and can cause your company to receive unnecessary locate tickets. A spatial database may reduce some of these tickets. This is a more accurate and efficient way of defining underground service areas.

Need a digital base map?

We would like to announce that the Mississippi One-Call System, Inc. (Mississippi 811) map data is now available through MARIS (What is MARIS). The data will be available to organizations that will be using the data in house without intent to distribute or sell. Data distribution will be based on a signed agreement. The agreement can be downloaded from the MARIS web site. The signed agreement should be returned to Mr. Steve Walker or faxed to (601) 432-6893. Once an organization is approved to use the Mississippi 811 data, it will be distributed through the MARIS Web or FTP sites.
